JJiahung Zou obtained his degrees in Trumpet Performance and Orchestral Conducting at Soochow University. He won the 3rd prize at the Hiroshima International Conducting Competition in 2024. From the 2024/25 season, he serves as "Conductor Assistant" at the National Symphony Orchestra, also known as the "Taiwan Philharmonic". As a conductor, he has attended masterclasses led by Luigi Gaggero, Jorma Panula, Karel Mark Chichon, Gábor Hollerung, Tatsuya Shimono, and Ya-Hui Wang. The artistic philosophy guided by Luigi Gaggero had the most profound influence on him. He has worked with the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Hiroshima Wind Orchestra, Camerata Antonio Soler, Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, ProArte Orchestra, Camerata Taiwan, and the Wind Ensemble of NSO.
